I love browsing Pinterest for color combinations and inspiration and when I came across some of these breathtaking pins, I knew that I had struck inspiration gold. Marsala and Gold to be exact.
This striking color combination is simply stunning and a little more daring than a traditional white color pallet. Marsala made it onto the Pantone color of the year list for 2015 and there’s no doubt as to why - it has the most wonderful depth and inspires elegance, an air of grace even. While Marsala is a deep tone and can be quite overpowering on its own, detailed gold accents and accessories help to bring out the richness of the color while adding a sense of sophistication to the event and décor.
So, naturally, after falling in love with 2015’s wedding Pantone color of the year I got to work pinning like crazy. It turns out that Masala is well-paired with a number of what I like to call “mature” colors. Champagne, Ivory, and even stark white make excellent base colors while deep dusty blue, blush, turquoise, hints of mint and gold all look amazing when used as highlight colors alongside this luxurious color. You can check out our full marsala Pinterest board here for tons of inspiration!
I couldn’t help but think of our Gold and crystal buckle slide while browsing the pins. Our rhinestone buckles make excellent accessories for a number of items like bouquets, invitations, menus and so much more. Our Gold Floral Napkin Rings would look sublime wrapped around a Marsala colored napkin, don’t you think?
Buckles can be used in a variety of ways, like embellishing invitation designs, flower girl’s hair accessories and shoes, or even to bling granny’s Marsala bag up!
