DIY Rhinestone Table Embellishment Tutorial

I love wedding DIYs for the fact that they save money, [time], and add a lovely personal touch to any event. We all know, though, that a wedding day is the one day where luxury and sophistication is a must and no expense is spared in order to make it so. But what if you could have luxurious elegance without putting too much strain on your wallet?

A little while ago, I posted a tutorial detailing the DIY chair embellishment using the rhinestone mesh featured in this DIY walk-through and these rhinestone mesh tutorials among my favorite tutorials thanks to the sheer simplicity of making these projects. The rhinestone mesh looks so great on its own already that there’s very little to do with this DIY, making it a perfect option for that last minute sparkle detail. The best part – it’s totally cost effective making it one of my top budget DIY projects.

You’ll need:

• A Table Runner - I’ve used organza but this project will work for any material type and color
• Our Rhinestone Mesh ribbon (also known as bling-on-a-roll)
• Velcro Strips with a sticker backing for easy application.
• A Pair of Scissors

As you see in the video, it’s so easy to put this project together and the end result is quite lovely, giving your tables a beautiful finish.  

Quick inspiration:

• Alternate the looks by simply using different mesh widths.
• Don’t throw away the bling-on-a-roll cutoffs from your bigger projects, use smaller pieces to bring the décor together by using them elsewhere on your table.
• When you’re done with these pieces, there’s no need to throw them out – store them for future projects, or use them for your scrapbooking projects. This is a great way to add sparkle to a wedding-themed scrapbook to store your big day’s most cherished memories and photographs.
