With the launch of our 2016 lookbook, we introduced 8 distinct styles, each with its own color theme. The gold lookbook style is all about elegance, classic beauty, and dazzling shine.
We teamed up with the fantastic wedding and event planners, Gina Humilde and Crystal Adair-Benning fromDistinct Occasions to create a lookbook that covers a wide range of styles, tastes, event types and themes and we're so pleased with its final outcome.

Gold, white, pretty metallic floral details, and a striking bit of sparkle make this table setting complete. We've used a satin-sheen napkin in gold to add grace to the table and it does the job well, especially when paired with the sparkling rhinestone stretch loop napkin ring. The gold cutlery not only looks great but will feel great when guests are eating their meals.
While the rhinestone stretch loop napkin ring in gold is quite simple, it has a gorgeous sparkling flair to it...adding just the right touch to the table setting. Here we used a classic serif font combined with a script font to mirror the sophistication we were aiming for with this place setting.
I loved putting this wedding favor together. It looks so incredibly sophisticated and yet it was quite easy to make. In fact, it's one of our 1-minute DIYs.This stunning favor not only looks fantastic on the table, it's absolutely gorgeous and will make a great gift to send home with your guests. Put some treats or a themed item in the box and it's a complete, memorable and exciting way to say thank you. We topped these little boxes off with a gold diamante flower brooch and beautiful ribbon. They'd also make fantastic packaging for bridesmaid, maid of honor and, mother of the bride gifts.
White and gold, when combined, has a classic and timeless look to it. I also find that when gold is set off against white, it looks a little extra sparkling. This table setting is absolutely spectacular for weddings, parties, and events. Set the table with as much sparkle as you want and as a great idea, add metallic pieces to the table too as we did here with the candle holder and the gold-lined drinking glasses.
One of the ideas we had in making this theme was to add golden brooch bouquets to the table decor as well as make a bouquet for the bride-to-be. We added a few pearl elements to this bouquet ensuring that it ties in well with the white and gold tableware as well as the other white elements in the design and decor. Brooch bouquets are an excellent way to add elements of the bride's sparkling character to the design as she can choose her favorite pieces that really reflect her style, just as she would be able to do with flowers. As a bonus, these will last long after flowers wilt and can be used over and over again for glamorous dinner parties, events, and even home decor.
I love experimenting with new styles and new ways of decorating. Sometimes a simple change in fabric, a different choice of the fold, or the combination of exciting rhinestone embellishments like this one here is all it takes to create an absolutely spectacular combination. We totally enjoyed putting together the different styles as it allowed us to explore different looks as well as style for a range of events and tastes. Look out for this beautiful piece, it's coming to our totallydazzled.com online store very soon.
Wedding bouquets are a vital part of any wedding and many brides are choosing to add bling to their bouquets or make them completely out of rhinestone embellishments. This stylish brooch bouquet is a great way to preserve your wedding bouquet forever and dazzle guests at the same time. Choosing alternate embellishment sizes and styles will really give your bouquet that extra bit of depth.
The traditional garter is still super pretty but we know that sometimes a little extra glam is in order. We've seen some creative garter ideas and I love the idea of adding a bit of extra surprise for when that dress goes over the knee. We added the beautiful gold crystal buckle slide and a pretty satin ribbon to the garter to produce this gorgeous lace and sparkle final product.
