I have an exciting new guest youtube video made by Kimberly Davis from Diva Designing on a Dime and it showcases her absolutely stunning Christmas tablescape. I've covered the metallic Christmas a few times over the last few days so I couldn't help but get excited when I saw the gold and silver color combination for this tablescape. I am in love. Quite literally. 

Before I get into the details of the tablescape, I'd like to point out that this gorgeous table setting was created with simple fold up chairs and a fold up trestle table. Kimberly proved with this video that you can create glamorous and classy tablescapes even if you don't have high-end luxury furniture and I absolutely LOVE that she included this in her video. With her creative genius, she put together a flawless Christmas tablescape full of sparkling bling and beautiful finishes. 

The individual place settings at this tablescape are inviting, to say the least. The colors, perfectly combined to achieve a gorgeous metallic layered look, create a warm feel that is splendidly accentuated by the warm orange lighting. Kimberly used our gold floral rhinestone napkin ring to give each place setting a sophisticated look and feel. I love the color of the napkins and the gold floral napkin ring stands out when placed against the darker color.

The fold-up chairs were covered with a white cover and created a pretty silver ribbon, finishing the design off with a touch of bling. Using our rhinestone mesh ribbon (fondly known to us as bling on a roll), Kim made chair sash details that look stunning and are both budget friendly and super time savers. As she mentions in the video, she simply applied velcro to the adjoining back panels of the cut piece of rhinestone mesh. This is a fantastic idea and it's super easy to re-use the chair sash for a number of other projects or home decor ideas down the line. The chair bling detail could be re-used as napkin rings, wedding bouquet bands, glass covers (provided they're cut wide enough), candle holders and other home decor DIYs and crafts.

For some added bling, Kim repurposed last year's target-store-find reindeer into this year's Christmas tablescape centerpiece. The silver sparkling reindeer is a great addition to the table as it not only adds dimension but a little bit of character too, helping to set the scene. And that chandelier. All my ladies who love bling, I'm sure you saw the chandelier. It adds to the atmosphere of the entire dining room table.
