It's Christmas Eve and most Christmas dinners have been planned to the tee, no doubt. I'm sure, though, that there are at least a handful of people who are still browsing Pinterest for those last minute ideas (like me). While looking through all the stunning Christmas table settings, I realized that we haven't featured a good napkin post in a while and what better time than at Christmas.
While most other things need to be planned and bought way in advance, napkin folds can be made and changed on the day. All you'll need are some napkins, your favorite bling and any other decoration pieces you may need.
There are a number of unique ways to fold your napkins, embellish them and decorate them to suit your theme and table, so I've added both the tutorials and a few inspiration images for you all to take a look at.
This fold is actually pretty easy to achieve and takes little to no time to create a stunning and stylish fold. What I absolutely love about this fold is that you can add items to the napkin. We very often see this fold being used for cutlery but it's also great for name cards, flat wedding or event favors, and decoration items. It's a fantastic idea to add a bit of bling to your fold.
When in doubt, roll it out. This is less of a fold and more of a simple roll, really. It's the choice of bling and decoration elements that make this fold stand out.
I LOVE this gorgeous fold. It's a breeze to create and it looks absolutely stunning. It's perfect for Christmas and I can just imagine how amazing a big, bright red bow-fold napkin would look on a Christmas tablescape.
The next two napkin folds were featured tutorials in the Living Luxuriously Fall Tablescape blog post a few weeks ago and are absolutely great for Christmas too.
A big thanks to Melanie Turner from Living Luxuriously for Less for creating her Thanksgiving tablescape and showing us this beautiful fold. It's so incredibly simple yet so striking. You can add any choice of bling, napkin ring or even other DIY elements to the Peacock fold to create the look you want for Christmas.
Happy decorating and may your Christmas be a superb day of joy and love.
