Living Luxuriously for Less has uploaded two absolutely stunning YouTube videos to her channel and shared them with us. The first one, a floral centerpiece DIY, has all the makings of a beautiful professional floral arrangement and it looks amazing, the second video is a showcase of the baby shower she put together in which she used the floral centerpiece she made.
Before we get started on the videos, I just wanted to say that this was a job well done. Melanie was feeling a bit nervous about creating a floral centerpiece like this but I LOVE the final product and there’s no doubt she has a skill for it.
The ball floral centerpiece looks very sophisticated and has just the right balance of white and purple. Melanie has added a few bling pieces to the flowers themselves to add depth and sparkle to the floral arrangement. She’s done this by simply attaching the brooch pieces to the flower center or using hot glue in the case of a button. For the beautiful big purple flower, Melanie has chosen a statement piece, the ornate flower brooch, to add an extravagant flair to that particular flower while using the smaller but striking flower rhinestone and pearl flat back and pearl and rhinestone flower button for the gorgeous Gerber daisies. Melanie has also made use of some of the striking pieces found only in our silver and pearl bulk embellishments.
To make your own centerpiece like this one, you will need a selection of flowers. Melanie made use of a mixture of cost-effective flowers and a few expensive ones in order to add depth to the bouquet. This also ensures that the floral arrangements look high-end and are of excellent quality without being too expensive in the long run.

Melanie chose a purple and white color palette for this baby shower. The concept was built around keeping up with the Kardashians and Melanie pulled it all together with the social media angle (very cute idea for photographs and sharing them on Instagram.) The tables were kept gloriously simple and elegant with the beautiful centerpieces as the main focus. Evey detail was catered to in this baby shower. Even the teddy bears were given a touch of bling because, of course, the Kardashians are all about their bling too.
