Pantone released their choice for 2017 color of the year at the end of 2016 and it's no surprise that this year's color is greenery. The gorgeous shade of green that they've chosen is revitalizing and refreshing and has been part of many events and weddings, design projects and even home decor projects over the last few years.
We've also seen the growing trend of greenery hit homes, office spaces, and weddings in the form of natural foliage. This has been one of my personal favorite trends to follow and I love how it's grown and adapted to include all forms of greenery. From outdoor weddings to lavish white weddings with greenery as a highlight, this trend is absolutely gorgeous.

Taking note of the specific shade of green that Pantone has chosen for this year's color (Pantone 15-0343), the first thing to notice is that it's bright, lively and super fresh. It's the shade of green or rather, very close to the shade of green, that many eco and organic companies use for their branding specifically because it makes us feel naturally energized. It feels clean and earthy without being dirty, making it the perfect color for marketing eco-friendly products in a tasteful way.
This shade pairs magnificently with white, gray (both cool and warm shades of gray work well), and neutral colors making it the perfect highlight color for minimal weddings. Whether you choose to add greenery as a color element through natural elements like foliage or other elements like print, paint, and fabric, there's no doubt that it will make for a spectacular wedding. As we're also just heading into spring, I thought it would do to remind you of the amazing possibilities for a spring palette with Pantone's greenery color of the year.
I love the idea of pairing minimal bling pieces like the rhinestone stretch loop napkin ringwith this color theme. The rhinestone stretch loop napkin ring is understated but still full of sparkle and elegance. We've been super lucky to have had a variety of our customers share their gorgeous spring tablescapes with us. For inspiration, take a look at the fresh spring tablescape inspiration by Green Crystal Rose, the colorful spring tablescape from Araceli Chan, and the sparkling spring tablescape by The Magnolia Housewife.
They've released an awesome intro video into the many possibilities of greenery this year. Watch and be inspired.
