We’re so excited to be featuring the work of one of our talented customers on the blog today. Robin Bishop, an interior designer from Jacksonville, recently shared images of a tablescape she put together for a client and we fell in love. It’s all glam with a lot of sparkle just the way we like it.
For those of you who regularly put tablescapes together, you’ll know it’s actually an art and it can be challenging at times to find the pieces you’re looking for. If you’re working on a budget, as many if not most of us are, then finding pieces that aren’t way too expensive can be just as perplexing. We are always in awe of the wonderful work our customers do and it’s not only a pleasure but an honor for us to see our pieces adorning the table, decorating the gifts for an event or being used as invitation embellishments.
Robin’s color scheme was purple and silver with hints of gray, white and black in the mix. This regal color combination feels so glamorous and extravagant, it’s absolutely gorgeous. If you love a lot of sparkle and a daring color that still feels sophisticated, using purple is a good choice. The silver adds a dazzling shine to this table setting and the white, gray and black hints add depth to the design. All in all, it’s absolutely gorgeous.
The color combination was not the only regal touch to the tablescape. The feather chargers and the leopard print table runner added an extra dose of royal charm to the scene. The continuity of a theme or the details that make a theme feel seamless is often communicated through small details. One of the details we absolutely loved was the feather nestled in the napkin ring. This stunning detail adds dimension and makes each place setting feel special. It also extends the theme right down to the individual seat at the table.
Adding to the sophisticated feel, Robin used a lovely gray satin napkin and paired it with our flower rhinestone and pearl napkin ring. The pearls look lovely set against the gray satin napkin and the floral design is clearly visible. I loved the rhinestone details on the napkin ring, yet another touch that adds to the glamorous feel of this tablescape. The rhinestone detail on the napkins can also be seen on the drinking glasses as well as the cutlery. I loved this detail and even though Robin didn’t use the same rhinestones to embellish the cutlery, it’s clear that the design of the cutlery was specifically chosen to mirror that of the rhinestone details. Great eye for detail!
All in all, this lovely table setting is something we’ll be ogling over here at the Totally Dazzled head offices for quite some time and we’re so happy that we can share it with you all today.
