February has quietly snuck up on us, it seems, without warning. I can’t believe how quickly the first month of the year has gone by. I’m not complaining, though, as we all know February is the month of love and it’s one that is full of sparkle and shine for many people.

Although we generally consider Valentine’s Day to be for those who are in love, we can celebrate it in many different ways. Kids can show their appreciation to parents with sweet handmade cards from school; moms can show their doting love to their children with hugs, kisses and maybe a treat or two; friends can strengthen bonds on Valentine’s day by exchanging heartfelt gifts.
