This isn't the first time I've looked at soft pink as a wedding color. Not too long ago I covered blush pink and gray as wedding theme when the trend had taken the wedding world by storm. Every so often I revisit the idea of a soft pink wedding with a variety of different color combinations. It was as I was browsing for dusty blue wedding inspirationas part of the spring wedding theme colors, I came across a dusty blue and soft pink combo which is very similar to pink and gray and I thought it would be a great idea to showcase pink on its own.
Picking a wedding color can be pretty daunting if you haven't narrowed down your choices yet. It can also be extremely exciting once you've decided and you get started in on the designs and decor items. Thankfully we have Pinterest and Instagramthese days to help get our mood boards together for big events and life occasions like weddings. I don't know what we'd do without Pinterest, really.

To kick off the pink wedding inspiration, I included one of Totally Dazzled's vintage pink and pearl lookbook (2016) place settings. This look was a blast to put together as it's beautiful, feminine and has a bit of a royal charm to it. We wanted to showcase the beauty of intricate design details and how they can transform your wedding or event. As you all well know, the smallest details really do band together to create an unforgettable event.
As you can imagine, using soft pink is not just about the gentleness of the color. Making this color combination really shine requires a softness in textures as well. For example, the gentleness of soft pink roses, the cool feel of satin napkins, the gentle flow of a gorgeous organza wedding gown, in pink, of course. All these details add to the feel of soft pink.
Pearls are another great addition to the soft pink wedding theme as they're timeless, elegant and while they're technically hard, they have a gentle look. I love the idea of using pearl jewelry and wedding accessories. You could even add a few pearl and rhinestone pieces to items like handbags, shoes, and boutonnieres. Here are 8 DIYs that took us under a minute to make for 8 awesome ideas on how to spruce up your wedding gear the easy way.
The flower rhinestone and pearl napkin ring and the elaborate but gorgeous flower rhinestone and pearl brooch are both beautiful choices for a soft pink wedding combination. Don't forget to check out our pearl collection if you're planning a soft pink wedding.
